Thankful....

So this was our Thanksgiving here in Denver.....

Yes, we are thankful for this cutie little goofball, along with so much more.....

• I am thankful for my 3 boys.... they are my world, without them Id be lost.
• Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, hands down.... nothing else compares. And even though we havent been able to spend the last 3 Thanksgivings at home with our families.... we have been together as our own little family. And that is so great.... we have each other. And thats something to be so greatful for! :)
• I am thankful for our tiny little turkey we've had each year that looks so hilarious in our HUGE foil pan! (it can be seen front & center on the table picture above) haha!
• And I am thankful for a husband that loves me more than anything & the beautiful family we have created!
• I am SO thankful for our 2 wonderful families & the great loyal friends we have!
• And last, but not least....I am so thankful for a healthy pregnancy!!!
• P.S.- I have many, many more things I could add.... but Chad & I are about to go watch a movie & have some alone time! So thats all I have for now!
• Love everyone & wish we couldve been in TEXAS for Thanksgiving..... maybe by Christmas we'll be seein' everyone! :)
  

Boulder Falls & a WHAT in my house?!!!

So today started out so awesome....
I woke up to Dylan all excited saying "Mama, come here.... there's a mouse in the bathtub!" OH MY GOD! A WHAT?!?!?!?!!!! So I hopped outta bed real fast.... and yep, sure enough a NASTY little ugly grey mouse! Running around in our tub freaking out & scratching his little nails all around..... ooooh, the thought of it now totally creeps me out! And I dont know about yall.... but I didnt grow up in a trailer park, so I have never had a mouse in my house!! YUCK! So I found a Taco Bell cup & a paper plate to trap our nasty little intruder... and yelled for Chad to get in there & catch the little nasty critter! Did I mention how disgusted & mad I was that this thing was running around in our house! SICK!!!!! So he was captured & shaken a few times to teach him a lesson! I of course wanted to kill the nasty little thing...so it could NEVER return! But Dylan thought it was "sooo cute".... so I promised him we wouldnt...and Chad let him free across the street in an open field! I hope that mouse is smart enough not return to my house or it will be dead!

So after our fun morning.... we decided to head out for a little relaxing adventure. We headed out to Boulder (about 45 mins away) to take the boys a little into the mountains! The trail we went on was a quick & easy little "hike" & at the end was a beautiful waterfall! Oh and was it COLD!!!!! Chad & I were a tiny bit under dressed.... no heavy jacket & no gloves. Oops! Guess we'll know next time. We had a great time anyway! And the boys loved being there... Dylan thinks he's a "warrior" so he was having fun with the freedom of running around on the rocks & climbing. Ethan LOVED the water.... he wanted to get in it! I think he would have learned his lesson really fast had we actually let him get his feet in! haha!

Pregnant that is!

WooHoo!!!

We are very excited.... and so are the boys (well, Dylan anyway... Ethan's a little too young to get it yet.) I am now 14 weeks.... past the 1st trimester! Whew! So I am confident (yet still very cautious) that this baby is healthy! So far everything looks great!! The boys & I heard the little heartbeat today at the Dr's office... and he said it sounded perfect & that everything was right on target. I also saw him/her squirmin' all around on the utrasound at my first appt. @ 10 weeks.... so it's official! We will have a NEW BABY to add to our family in mid-May! My actual due date is May 21st.... but my babies always come early, so this one shouldn't be any different!

Randomness....

Just a random blog with pics to entertain yall!
We havent been just sitting around on our butts lately (well, maybe I have) and I have several things to write about..... BUT Im just going with the randomness right now! Ill post something really good really, really soon.... so stay tuned! And until then I shall say anyone who has not seen the new Madagascar needs too! It is soooooooo good! We went the weekend it opened (I think last weekend, Im so lost right now Im not sure) anyway, we took both the boys.... yes, Ethan went with us. And I was prepared to have to walk out & get a refund & that whole deal.... but he sat thru the entire movie with no peeps other than "OH WOW!!" and "Cool!!" And he came out of it loving the "Big & Chunky" song.... I sing it to him & he get this HUGE smile on his face! Too funny! Anywho! Speaking of things that make him laugh, I have to share this video I came across a couple years ago....anytime I need a real good laugh I seek it out. And I showed it to Ethan a few days ago..... oh my goodness, if I had a video camera! haha! Anywho here it is.....

Our Little Halloween

So Halloween is so last week and all.... but I figured I better put up a few pics & whatnot! But things have gotten kinda crazy around here (like Im talkin' a whole 180 & then some probably... but Ill save that for another day!) and I have just now gotten a chance to tell about our little night of Halloween adventures. So anyway, the day before Halloween Chad's schedule changed to nights.... so I had to put on my BIG girl panties & take the kiddos out trick-or-treating by myself! lol.... And boy did we miss our Daddy! But we still had soooo much fun! First, I took the boys to Southlands mall, which is an awesome outdoor mall here... the boys got tons & tons of candy from the stores!!! And boy was that place PACKED! And next, we were off to a nearby church that had the best Halloween set up for kids I have EVER seen & trust me on this. I couldnt have gone to a better place while I was alone with the kids.... everything was free (including a drink, popcorn & caramel apples!) indoors & safe.... the best kind of family Halloween. They had every kind of game or activity you could think of.... trust me, you name it, they had it. And when the kids won at a game or even just ran thru the mazes, they got a HANDFUL of candy! We have literally 3 overflowing bags of candy & Halloween trinkets.... insane!
