Happy Birthday, Baby.

HAPPY 7th BiRTHDAY TO MY WARRiOR!

I am not so creative in the writing today & I dont have much time before it's time for Dylan to get home from school, so I have borrowed some quotes I previously posted on my MySpace while we were living in Miami.... This is why I love Dylan! He has just enough sweetness & just enough goofballness.... just the right mixture! Gotta love him! And he keeps us laughing (even when we dont wanna be)!

+ " Look, Mama (pointing up into the night sky) the sky has freckles!!" - 3 yrs old

+ I told him the other day I was Ethan's Mamacita and he was like "well Im his Brothercita!"

+ "I have so many hearts beacuase I love you so much." - 4 yrs

+ "Why does Ethan have to get his penis cut again?" (After we told him Ethan was being Baptized, I cracked up & then explained he was getting Baptized, not Circumcised!)

+ "I'll slap you back to Jesus!"
(He told Chad this once, I guess he thought Chad needed some more faith.) -4 yrs

+ Walking home from school, he sees an ant on the sidewalk..... he yells "Do you wanna be defeated?!" and then stomps the thing to death. - 5 yrs

Okay, so he wasnt right about that Ethan speaking Spanish one..... but Ethan sure can talk & talk & talk & talk, wonder where he gets that from! lol

In Texas.....

So we have been in Texas for over a month now... and I am FINALLY adding an update post! We have been busy busy like none other since getting here! Its crazy how time has flown by!
We are currently living with my sister & her family in Buffalo Gap, Texas (about 15 minutes from Abilene). Anywho..... here is a short lil' run down on whats been going on & whats to come for the Carrolls of TEXAS...

This is on the way home from Colorado.... We took pictures with the New Mexico sign. But unfortunately did not with the TEXAS sign.... I swear that thing was TINY! I have a bone to pick with Texas on that one... my goodness! Not a very big warm welcome there at all! Oh Well!

Dylan started at his new school the week after Valentine's.... and he loves it so far! Things are completely different all around from the Denver school to this tiny Buffalo Gap school, but he seems to be adjusting really quickly & is making new friends. He is also about to start baseball! And he just had his 7th birthday party this past Saturday (pictures to come).

We recently surprised my Gram for her 80th Birthday with a little mini reunion! And she truly was a Princess for a day! She was overwhelmed with joy!

And as for Chad.... he is just pluggin' away at his much much much more relaxed, easy-going workplace @ the Abilene airport. He will be able to learn both radar & tower... which will allow him to have more options for his future with the FAA. So we are very excited!

And last, but NOT least....

We have found a house!!!!!

Yay!

We close on April 8th.... and cannot wait!
