Twice in my life.....

Surprise!
While in Midland... they threw me a little family surprise party!

Its not easy to surprise me since I always have to know the details of EVERYTHING well in advance, all the time. Im crazy psycho that way. And I question everything. My mom used to tell me how difficult I was to surprise when I was younger... for anything. I'd badger her about everything I didn't know all the details of until I got at least a little something out of her.... very satisfying to me to get her to let out a little secret here & there. And this is the second time a birthday has been an actual genuine surprise to me. The other was my 16th Birthday. Anywho! So, they tricked me a little & I showed up a little on the cranky side (that might be an understatement)....and it took me like 10 minutes to realize (when everyone said SURPRISE) that it was a party for me. For my birthday. (I may or may not have cried a little. And there may or may not be evidence on a video camera somewhere.) Wow! I'm pretty special, this I know. But in the end, I was super grateful and felt very loved. So thanks everyone who took part. And gave me awesome gifts! I love them all!

The hats....its like a family tradition in our house. Even if you are 80+! Just ask my Gram.... my mom forces them upon us! Of course the kiddos loved them! : )

And even a few adults joined in.

yikes....

TWENTY-EIGHT!

I met my niece Ashlyn this day for the very first time! Im in love! She is a precious little doll. She is so adorable now I want more babies.... tons of them! As long as I get at least ONE girl in there!

Me & 2 of my Heathens

Nice to have both our families together.... I loved it!

And now for the best part! Not the awesome cupcake pan!
But the sign behind me... The one that reads : "Happy Birthdy Sarah!"
Oh how awesome! Credit my mom for that one. haha!

I totally had the Breast Birthdy EVER....
(thanks for all the boob cards everyone... I mean really what are yall tryin to tell me?!)

One sweet day!

This day of September 13th, 2009 was such a special day for our family. Aiden Trent Carroll was baptized at First United Methodist Church. Lots of our family showed their support! I'm so grateful for that...especially the ones who traveled just for this day! My heart was full. The 13th is also my birthday.... the second I realized it landed on a Sunday, I knew this was the perfect baptism day for mister Aiden. I couldn't have been more right.

It was truly a blessed day!

Also, that morning my dear friend Jessica welcomed her sweet baby boy into the world! Little Ryan was born at 7:29 am.... and I cannot wait to meet him! I love that all these babies are being born! I love it, I love it! And even more, this little baby boy made his debut on my birthday & Aiden's special day! How sweet is that?!
Congratulations to PROUD mama & papa, Jessica and Saul!
