First Day!

The 24th was Dylan's 1st day at a brand new school.
Since we've spent the last 3 years moving around like gypsies, this is the 5th time he has started at a new school. Claude Pepper in Miami and Bush in Midland for kindergarten. Fox Hollow in Denver and Jim Ned in Buffalo Gap for 1st grade. And now yet again another school to add to that list as we moved to Abilene. And one really awesome thing, this is the last NEW school for a long while.... and for that Im thankful. Finally he can make some real good friends... to keep! I am so excited for him this year as I know its going to be great! And Im already very impressed with the school!

Only down side is we miss our Dylan all day....


And Ethan has to find other "friends" to eat lunch with....

Are you kidding me?!

This is what happens when you buy a different kind of suncreen & you dont test it out before spraying it all over your son. I didnt realize until the end when he was as pale as a ghost white because I was wearing my sunglasses! Needless to say there is a big difference in "lotion ultramist spray" & "lotion spray"!

Wow! Ethan was freaking out a little bit when he saw it. Seriously though what is the point in the spray if you still have to rub it in?! We spend more, so we can be lazy & not have to rub it in..... geez!!!!!!

One night at the Zoo....

We've been wanting to take the kids to the zoo since we've been in Abilene... and last Thursday Melissa invited us to go with her. The zoo was open late & had a bluegrass band performing. Anyway, I was super excited to take the kids. And apparently early evening is the perfect time to see the animals active.... it was cool that night! The kids got the chance to see all the animals....

This always shocks me no matter how many times I see those gigantic tongues!

I took alot of pictures of the giraffes... if you have ever been to the Abilene Zoo, you know why. It's the best animal to visit. And cutest!

All the lions were pretty cool...and were roaring the entire night.
