Last Saturday was the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's at the Abilene Zoo. Chad, the boys & I walked for the cause. Along with Christy, Joe, Jayce, John & Ashleigh and Melissa, Kade & Maira. There was a huge turnout... which is awesome! However, the "walk" was more like a leisurely little stroll to say the least. Now we've never done this before so maybe it's because alot of the participants are people affected by Alzheimer's themselves (or their spouses) or if it's because it took place inside the zoo. All I know is that when you have 8 kids on your team walking past those cute little animals is almost impossible. Anyhow, next year I'll know a little more what to expect....and hopefully will raise some money. This year we dedicate our walk to Pop, Grandma Nielsen, Papa Harris & Joe's Grandmother too.... we all signed a paper forget me not for each of them.
Second half of the day & into the night....

Who doesn't love Joe? He is the most loveable guy, ever!
I finally changed your blog addy on my list. It has been awhile since I have been here. I love the new look!
I will call you sometime later. Hopefully we can catch each other. Not sure about Thanksgiving yet. Margaret said we are all going to Abilene, maybe? That sounds like soooo much fun! I am still very hesitant to be around large groups of people with lots of little kids. We have been non-stop sick around here. I hate to miss any fun so I am leaning towards going. We will see.
How bad am I? I can smell a poopy and I am ignoring it while I check out your blog. The poor fourth child...
